No institutional quarantine for single parents accompanying children
Institutional quarantine is not required for an expat parent accompanying their children to Oman, the Civil Aviation Authority has announced.
“The exception includes residents coming to the Sultanate through its borders, whether by land, sea, or air, if they accompany their children who are aged 18 years or under. This relates to children who are accompanied by either parent: their mother or their father.” – Official from the CAA.
The procedure is already underway at airports in the country, following the issuance of a circular by the CAA and Ministry of Health.
However, all other preventive precautions must be followed by those exempt from institutional quarantine.
