Somalia’s opposition leaders say they no longer recognise President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed after his term expired without new elections.
He has been embroiled in a dispute with regional leaders, which has prevented a vote to find his replacement.
The United Nations is calling for a quick resolution to the crisis.
