Oman may record marked decrease in temperatures: CAA
A marked decrease in the maximum and minimum temperatures can be expected in all governorates and wilayats of the Sultanate.
This drop in temperate started from Saturday, 2nd January 2021 and is expected to continue for the next three days.
“A marked decrease in the maximum and minimum temperatures, starting today and during the next three days, when the lowest temperatures reach 16-11 degrees on the coasts of the Sea of Oman and range between 12 to 6 degrees in the interior and desert areas, while it reaches zero degrees Celsius in the mountain tops.” – CAA
In its weather forecast CAA said that there would be mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with the existence of isolated clouds and chances of isolated rain over parts of Al Hajar Mountains.
