Duqm airport inspected ahead of October 1 reopening
Oman’s CAA inspected Duqm Airport to ensure safety and health protocols have been implemented during COVID-19, as airports are set to reopen on October 1.
“The Civil Aviation Authority has begun checking the protocols for health and safety at Duqm Airport, as it prepares to officially resume regular passenger flights from the beginning of October.” – Oman’s Government Communications Centre
Opened in January 2019, Duqm airport was built to provide greater connectivity to the town.
The Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm (SEZAD), said earlier this year that Duqm Airport is the most recent airport in the Sultanate.
